Ruben Markus
Ruben Markus, co-founder of IP Light, has served as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and Chairman of the Board since the foundation of IP Light in 2008. Ruben brings with him extensive managerial, business and marketing expertise in the fields of optical and datacom networking. Prior to IP Light Ruben was the CEO of Enavis Networks (1993-2002), a SONET/SDH systems vendor that under his management grew from a seed concept to a full-fledged company generating cumulative sales in excess of $1B. Ruben was also the Executive Vice-President in charge of Global Sales & Marketing for ECI Telecom (2003-2005), a $700M a year telecommunications equipment provider. Ruben also served in 2006 as the CEO of TTI Telecom, a public software company specializing in Operations Support Systems (OSS). Ruben started his career at Tadiran Telecommunications as a hardware and systems engineer. Ruben holds various patents in Telecommunications and Switching Systems. Ruben holds a B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from the Tel-Aviv University and an MBA in business administration from the Recannati School of Management of the Tel-Aviv University.  

Ronen Yehoshua
Mr. Yehoshua joined Cedar in 2006. He is a Principal who focuses on the communications, wireless and consumer electronics fields. His career spans over 13 years of technology and investment experience in these sectors. Before joining Cedar, Ronen served as Vice President in Uzia Initiatives & Management, headed by Uzia Galil, where he was responsible for facilitating technology cooperation between Israeli and global companies. Before that, he held the position of Director of investment and cooperation in Partner Future Communications (PFC), part of Partner Communications, the Orange operator in Isarel. There, he focused on investments and cooperation with start up companies developing technologies and services for the cellular market, and where he was also responsible for new business innovations in Orange. Prior to PFC, Ronen spent 7 years with ECI Telecom, most recently as Director of Business Development in the Integrated Network Solutions Strategic Business Unit. Ronen holds an MBA from Ben Gurion University and BSc. in Electrical Engineering from Tel Aviv University.

  Yossi Moshe
Yossi Moshe, co-founder of IP Light, has served as the Vice-President for Research & Development (VP R&D) since the foundation of the company. Yossi brings with him extensive and thorough understanding of networking and communications technologies as well as system and components architecture expertise based on more than 20 years of experience with industry-leading companies, in key technology and managerial positions. Before joining IP Light Yossi’s last position was of VP R&D, Operations and QA for Lynx Photonics (2004-2007) a privately held company that specialized in optical and photonic switching technologies. Yossi was also the VP R&D for Enavis Networks (1999-2003) where he managed a 120-man strong R&D team located in the USA and Israel developing optical interfaces, wide-band, narrow-band and broad-band cross-connect systems as well as the ASICs that constituted the main competitive edge of Enavis’ product lines. Throughout this period Yossi’s team developed 18 different ASIC designs in various technologies and with different vendors. Yossi holds a B.Sc. in Electronic Engineering from the Tel-Aviv University. Yossi also holds 6 patents in the field of Telecommunications.   Israel Frieder, Ph.D.
Mr. Israel Frieder is the Chairman of A.A.Pearl Investments Ltd. Mr. Frieder has over 35 years of experience in the communications and investment industry. Mr. Frieder serves as Chairman/Director of several public and private companies, and investment committee. From 2005 to 2008 Mr. Frieder was the founder, Chairman & CEO of ITAC (Israel Technology Acq. Corp.) Raising $38M (OTCBB).From 2001 to 2004 Mr. Frieder served as the President & CEO of Kardan Communications Ltd.,an investment company and served as Chairman / Director of the portfolio companies such as RRsat (Nasdaq:RRST),IVP, Teledata-Networks, SintecMedia, YES and Investment committee of Aviv VC. From 1996 to 2001 Mr. Frieder served at ECI Telecom (Nasdaq:ECIL) provider of network and access solutions for digital networks for over 180 operators. During 1996 to1999 Mr. Frieder served the President of ECI Telecom, DNI Inc. in the US. During 1999 to 2001 served as Corporate Vice President of Business Development & Strategic Planning of ECI Telecom. During 1986 to 1996 Mr. Frieder served as the President of Tadiran Telecommunication Ltd, Network Systems. While at Tadiran, Mr. Frieder founded four companies and sales grew from $30m to $350m, and served as a director of several companies, such as Motorola Tadiran Cellular Ltd. (PelePhone), Tadiran Telecom (Kunming) Co. Ltd. (Joint Venture), and TNN – Tadiran Newbridge Networks Ltd. Mr. Frieder also served as the President and CEO of Elisra Tadiran, Public Switching Ltd. Mr. Frieder is a winner of the Israel Defense Prize, 1979 and Israel Kaplan Prize, 1986 Mr. Frieder received a M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering (Technion, Haifa) and an MBA in Operational Research (Hebrew University of Jerusalem) with distinction. Mr Frieder received a Ph.D. from the Graduate School of Business Administration (Bar-Ilan University, Ramat-Gan) .
