Ruben Markus
Ruben Markus, co-founder of IP Light, has served as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and Chairman of the Board since the foundation of IP Light in 2008. Ruben brings with him extensive managerial, business and marketing expertise in the fields of optical and datacom networking. Prior to IP Light Ruben was the CEO of Enavis Networks (1993-2002), a SONET/SDH systems vendor that under his management grew from a seed concept to a full-fledged company generating cumulative sales in excess of $1B. Ruben was also the Executive Vice-President in charge of Global Sales & Marketing for ECI Telecom (2003-2005), a $700M a year telecommunications equipment provider. Ruben also served in 2006 as the CEO of TTI Telecom, a public software company specializing in Operations Support Systems (OSS). Ruben started his career at Tadiran Telecommunications as a hardware and systems engineer. Ruben holds various patents in Telecommunications and Switching Systems. Ruben holds a B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from the Tel-Aviv University and an MBA in business administration from the Recannati School of Management of the Tel-Aviv University.  

Israel Vitelson
Israel Vitelson, co-founder of IP Light, has served as the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) since the foundation of the company. Israel brings with him over 20 years of managerial experience in directing the development of products in optical networking and datacom applications. Israel exhibits extensive experience in managing complex hardware and ASIC intensive programs and the associated systems processes. Before joining IP Light Israel was Vice-President for New Technologies at ECI Telecom (2004-2006). Israel also served as the VP R&D of Enavis Networks (1993-1999) and later as the Chief Operating Officer (COO, 2000-2002) and CEO (2003) of Enavis. Israel holds a B.Sc. (Cum Laude) in Electrical Engineering from the Technion Technological Institute in Haifa and a Product Management Specialization from the Bar-Ilan University. Israel also holds 4 patents in the field of Telecommunications.

  Yossi Moshe
Yossi Moshe, co-founder of IP Light, has served as the Vice-President for Research & Development (VP R&D) since the foundation of the company. Yossi brings with him extensive and thorough understanding of networking and communication technologies as well as system and components architecture expertise based on more than 20 years of experience with industry-leading companies, in key technical and managerial positions. Before joining IP Light Yossi was VP R&D, Operations and QA for Lynx Photonics (2004-2007), a privately held company that specialized in optical and photonic switching technologies. Yossi was also the VP R&D for Enavis Networks (1999-2003), where he managed a 120-man strong R&D team located in the USA and Israel developing optical interfaces, wide-band, narrow-band and broad-band cross-connect systems as well as the ASICs that constituted the main competitive edge of the Enavis product lines. Throughout this period Yossi’s team developed 18 different ASIC designs in various technologies and with different vendors. Yossi holds a B.Sc. in Electronic Engineering from the Tel-Aviv University. Yossi also holds 6 patents in the field of Telecommunications.  

Leon Bruckman
Leon Bruckman joined IP Light in 2009 as Vice-President for Systems Engineering. Leon brings with him 25 years of high-level technical experience in Optical Telecommunications and Datacom. Prior to joining IP Light Leon was the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) of Corrigent Systems (1999-2007), a Datacom and Optical Networking vendor. In this capacity Leon managed Corrigent’s systems group, and was responsible for the interaction with international standardization bodies (ITU-T, IETF, IEEE, T11) and also served as Technical Editor for the 802.17 IEEE work-group. Prior to this position Leon was the VP R&D for Hynex Networks (1996-1999), a privately held company specializing in ATM networking gear. Leon also worked for Tadiran Telecom (1982-1996) where he held positions with the R&D group. Leon holds a B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering (Cum Laude) from the Technion Technological institute in Haifa and an MBA (Cum Laude) from the School of Management of the Bar-Ilan University. Leon also holds over 20 patents in fields of Telecommunications.
